Univ. of Nebraska Wrestlers Caught in Gay Porn Scandal Booted from Team

Two college wrestlers who appeared on gay adult Website Fratmen.tv and performing sexual acts on video have been booted from the University of Nebraska wrestling team for violating NCAA rules. Paul Donahoe, a national champion in the 125-pound division, and Kenny Jordan, who wrestles in the 133-pound division, violated an NCAA rule which prohibits athletes from receiving compensation for the use of their images by anyone seeking commercial gain.

From the mat to the mattress. That seems to be the case at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. According to The Scarlet Project blog, two of the schools varsity wrestlers have been doing some moonlighting… as part-time gay porn stars. Paul Donahoe, a national champion in the 125-pound division, and Kenny Jordan, who wrestles in the 133-pound division, were found by an anonymous source on the gay adult website Fratmen.tv.

Nebraska Caucus Results Yield Another Win for Barack Obama

Illinois Senator Barack Obama claimed yet another state for his war chest on Saturday, defeating rival New York Senator Hillary Clinton in the Nebraska caucus results. Obama took the victory by a landslide, showing once again his campaign's enormous strength in caucus states. Obama also won in the Washington caucus results on Saturday.

Nebraska Gay Marriage Ban Overturned by Federal Judge

A federal judge struck down Nebraska's ban on gay marriage Thursday, saying the nearly five-year-old measure interferes not only with the rights of gay couples but also with those of foster parents, adopted children and people in a host of other living arrangements.
The constitutional amendment, which defined marriage as a union between a man and a woman, passed by a wide margin in November, 2000.

Federal Suit Seeks Repeal Of Nebraska Gay Marriage Ban
A federal lawsuit has been filed to overturn Nebraska's constitutional prohibition on same-sex marriage The amendment to the state constitution was passed in 2000. The suit was filed by Lambda Legal and the American Civil Liberties Union.

Homophobic Harassment Led Teen To Suicide Attempt Federal Suit Says
A former student is suing the Seward Nebraska School District alleging constant and violent homophobic bullying and the refusal of officials to stop it. Jamie Davis, 20, suffers from attention-deficit disorder and mild mental retardation. Her suit says the harassment by classmates became so bad it made her suicidal.

Brandon Teena Killer Denied DNA Appeal
The Nebraska Supreme Court has turned down an appeal for DNA testing by the man convicted of murdering transgendered teen Brandon Teena. John Lotter, on death row for the killing, claimed that DNA evidence would prove his innocence.

MSNBC Fires Savage Over Homophobic Comments

Talk show host Michael Savage was fired Monday over comments made on his Saturday MSNBC cable show in which he referred to an unidentified caller to his show Saturday as a "sodomite" and said he should "get AIDS and die."
